The big day is finally here. The stage is firmly set for the start of the 2025 edition of Indian Premier League, as cricketing fans across the globe are preparing to indulge high octane action for the next couple of months.
The opening match of the tournament is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM today and it is between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The match is going to be played at the iconic Eden Gardens, which happens to be the home ground of last season’s trophy holders, Kolkata Knight Riders.
This is going to be an interesting challenge between two equally balance sides. But historically speaking, KKR has an edge over RCB. It has to be seen if the men from Bengaluru will be able to upset KKR in their home ground in the opening game of this season.
Tomorrow, March 23, we have a couple of high profile classes between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, followed by the most anticipated game between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
