IPL’s Least Hated Team Is Killing It!

While Chennai, Mumbai and Bengaluru are three of the most followed teams in the IPL, they equally have anti fans as well. This is a natural course of action because every mainstream player will have their own set of fans and antis.

But there is one that has the least amount of haters in the IPL, and that is none other than Delhi Capitals. This team has historically had superstar players like David Warner, Sehwag, Kevin Peterson, and others. But not once, did they lift the trophy till now.

However, things are looking extremely positive for Delhi this year. In fact, Delhi is the only team that did not lose a single game this season. They have won all four of their games that they have played till now.

It needs to be noted that Delhi Capitals had always had the history of playing attacking brand of cricket, which made them a darling for IPL followers. More importantly, there is no reason to hate this team whatsoever.

Incidentally, Delhi Capitals managed to create a bonding with the Telugu followers as well by playing their two home games in Vizag. Another reason is that Delhi Capitals is owned by the GMR group, which originates from the Vizag region of Andhra Pradesh. They have a Telugu bonding.

Coming back to the performance this year, Delhi Capitals have all their bases covered in the most emphatic way possible. They have good aggressive batter like, Faf, Fraser McGurk, KL Rahul, Ashutosh Sharma and Stubbs. The bowling also looks sorted with Mitchell Starc, Axar Patel and others. They are one of the most well balanced sites in the IPL this year.

If Delhi Capitals can somehow manage this momentum for the rest of the season, then there is a very good chance that they could find themselves in the play-offs. Who knows they may even go all the way, and win the title, which has been eluding them for the last 18 years.
