From a realistic standpoint, Hyderabad is barely clinging to playoff hopes. This victory keeps them alive in the tournament, but they’ll need nothing short of a miracle to win all five of their remaining matches.
As for Chennai Super Kings, their season is nearly over. Even a perfect five-out-of-five finish may not be enough to push them into the playoffs.
