One of the crucial passages in the ongoing season of the IPL has been completed with the qualification of Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the season finale. They have become the first team to qualify for the finale and did it very comprehensively against Punjab Kings.
Bengaluru was absolutely dominant with the ball as they bowled out Punjab for a very modest score of 101 runs. Bengaluru batsmen then made light work of this chase as they hunted down the target in just 10 overs.
Bengaluru is now comfortably in the final and they will be facing the winner of the qualifier 2 now. Punjab will play the qualify 2 now and they will face the winner of the game between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans.
By the looks of it, Bengaluru will be fairly comfortable if Punjab make it to the finals again. But on the other hand, both Mumbai and Gujarat, are tough competitors and beating them is going to be a big task for Bengaluru.
Bengaluru will now have to play the waiting game for the finale which is scheduled for June 3rd.
