The misrule during the previous YCP regime is beginning to show consequences for the leaders and officials who were part of that administration. Former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi and IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu are two such examples.
Vamsi was jailed in connection with the attack on the TDP office, while Anjaneyulu was arrested and remanded in the Actress Jatwani case.
Coincidentally, both secured major relief from their respective courts on the same day—yesterday. After multiple remand extensions, both were granted conditional bail.
Vamsi received medical bail after pleading with the AP High Court, citing his deteriorating health condition. He argued that his condition would worsen without private medical treatment.
The court granted him medical bail, allowing him to undergo treatment at a private hospital.
Similarly, IPS officer Anjaneyulu, who is reportedly involved in the Actress Jatwani case, also secured conditional bail from the High Court. He, too, can now walk out of jail, subject to certain conditions.
In summary, both individuals, who reportedly crossed the line during the Jagan administration and were later jailed, have now been granted bail by the High Court.
