What A Disaster: Reddy Ruled Out Of England Series?

India came ever so close to winning the third test match against England, but ended up losing it by a small margin of 22 runs. One of the contributor in this game was Nitish Kumar Reddy, who picked up both the openers in the first innings and was constructive with the bat till one point. 

Coming to the table right now, the latest developments regarding the team composition for the reminder of the series are suggesting that Nitish might not be a part of the rest of the show. 

Reportedly, Reddy suffered an injury to his knee while practising for the fourth test match, and he might be ruled out for the reminder of the series henceforth. This is a pretty significant update, considering Nitish can be considered as a crucial part of the middle order, and can vastly improve the team composition. 

Nitish can bowl and bat with effectiveness, making him a right fit for the job. On his day, he can almost single-handedly in the game for India, like how he did in the Australia series earlier. More importantly, this overseas series against England could have helped shaped his career as well. 

But it is sad to note that talented young all-rounder might not be a part of the rest of the series which really is a shame at this point.
