Breathtaking: India Level Iconic England Test Series!

It has been a long time since the test format of Cricket had produced such a thriller of a series as the ongoing one between India and England. This test series went to the very last day today with the fifth day of fifth test match, finally concluding a short while ago.

Fittingly of the series ended in a complete square draw with England and India winning two games each and one concluding in draw. 

Coming to the fifth test match, India posted a significant target of 374 runs to England and chasing this down was always going to be tough. However, England was absolutely brilliant with the bat as Joe Root and Harry Brook were absolutely bamboozling Indian bowlers.

But after the departure of both route and Harry Brook, yesterday, England was lifted a situation where they needed 35 runs from the final day with four wickets in hand. 

This was when Mohammed Siraj became an absolute superstar as he swept away the lower batting order of England and handed over a famous victory for India.

India ended up winning the game by a margin of just six runs and as fittingly as it can get, it was Siraj who picked up the last wicket. This is going to go down as one of the most significant victories for the Indian test cricket team in recent years and this series is certainly the most entertaining one from the test format, possibly in the last decade or so.
