There is no debating the fact that extremely talented young Indian batsmen Shreyas Iyer has been one of the most consistent performers in recent years. Kind of impeccable form that he has been showing in the limited overs format is beyond ordinary. 

But despite his incredibly consistent performances in recent months, Shreyas Iyer somehow not found a place in the Indian spa for the upcoming Asia Cup tournament. 

In the aftermath of the exclusion of Shreyas Iyer from the final squad for the Asia Cup tournament team, India management is facing absolutely relentless battering on social media. 

There are countless posts on social media in support of Shreyas as people are of the opinion that he has been incredibly efficient for the team, but is still being ignored by the management.  

The fact that Shreyas almost took Punjab to win the IPL this year with his batting and captaincy skills is an education of his recent form. But somehow, the team management did not deem this adequate to select him for the final squad. 

At a time when the race, a discussion happening on whether Shreyas should be promoted as the next captain of the Indian T20 team, the fact that the management excluded him from a crucial tournament like Asia Cup is shocking.
