Leading IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bengaluru created history by becoming the new champions of the league this year. However, the transition has not been a smooth one as the deaths of multiple individuals at the RCB victory parade was rather disappointing.
In this context, the RCB franchise has shared their first social media post after a gap of three months and here’s a look into the same.
In their first post on social media, after a gap of three months, RCB announced the start of RCB Cares project.
𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. The Silence wasn’t Absence. It was Grief.
This space was once filled with energy, memories and moments that you enjoyed the most.. But June 4th changed everything. That day broke our hearts, and the silence since then has been our way of holding space.
That’s how 𝗥𝗖𝗕 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦 came to life. It grew out of a need to honour, to heal, and to stand beside our fans. A platform for meaningful action shaped by our community & fans.
We return to this space today, not with celebration but with care. To share. To stand with you. To walk forward, together. To continue being the pride of Karnataka, RCB wrote.
While the franchise did announce the start of the RCB care franchise, they did not announce what would be the actual purpose of the designated results of the same. Whether it would be any monetary funds for the deceased individuals families or something else is a point of discussion now.
