Team India Crush UAE – 57 All Out!

India started the Asia Cup 2025 with a massive win. In the first match at Dubai, Team India defeated UAE by 9 wickets and finished the game in just two hours.

UAE batted first but collapsed for only 57 runs. They began okay in the powerplay, but soon lost control. Jasprit Bumrah bowled a perfect yorker to remove Alishan Sharafu. After that, Kuldeep Yadav’s spin magic destroyed the middle order as he took 3 wickets in one over. Later, Shivam Dube also struck hard and picked up 3 wickets. Finally, UAE were all out in 13 overs. Kuldeep ended with 4 for 7, while Dube took 3 for 4.

India chased the target in jet speed. Abhishek Sharma started with a big six on the very first ball. Shubman Gill hit fours and sixes with ease. Before the powerplay ended, India completed the chase. Abhishek scored 30 runs, Gill remained not out on 20, and Suryakumar Yadav finished the match with a six on his first ball.

For UAE, the only good moment was scoring 41 for 2 in the powerplay. But after that, they lost 8 wickets for just 16 runs. Their total of 57 is now the second-lowest in Asia Cup history, a bitter record.

India have started their title defense strongly with this crushing win. The victory also gives them confidence for the big match against Pakistan on Sunday. Experts feel UAE’s real chance for a win may come only in their next match against Oman.
