History Created: India Thrashes Australia In WC Semis!

Indian women’s team has created history in the ongoing Women’s World Cup by registering a massive win against Australia in the semi-final clash.

For the first time in history of women’s World Cup, a target of 300 runs has been chased down successfully.

Batting first, Australia’s scored a massive target of 338 runs and India needed to chase down the highest ever total if they were to remain victorious in the semi-final clash. But India was absolutely brilliant with the bat in the second innings and they successfully chased it down.

India chased down the target of 340 runs and won the game by 5 tickets and had an over to spare. This was largely due to the tremendous contributions made by Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur and later on by Richa Gosh and Amanjot Kaur.

Beating Australia in this high profile clash in the world match World Cup semi-final is an extraordinary feat and it is a moment to cherish for everyone involved with the Indian team.
