IPL Trade: Chennai And Rajasthan In Talks for this Star Player?

Chennai Super Kings is in desperate need of a strong wicket-keeper batsmen who also has strong captaincy tendencies. This is primary due to the fact that Dhoni is ageing and the team needs a functional Indian wicket-keeper batsman to fill in for him.

In this context, there have been recent speculations about Chennai Super Kings approaching Rajasthan Royals for a potential trade of Sanju Samson. However, this speculations quickly died down after it was established that Rajasthan had no such intention of trading him.

But again, as the IPL trade window is to close, it is now being established that Chennai has again come in touch with Rajasthan for the potential trade of Sanju Samson.

This could be one of the final attempts from Chennai to secure the trade of Sanju, and it has to be seen what would be the nature of the trade. Would Chennai trade a player in their own team to Rajasthan or would it be a cash-only trade? Only time will tell. 

But what is for certain is that Chennai will have to quickly find a solution to the Dhoni problem considering his age factor.
