Official: IPL Confirms 2 Crucial Trades!

Ahead of the upcoming IPL auction, the leading teams have started to carry out the trading activities. While there are several reports about Chennai Super Kings trading, Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran to get Sanju Samson from Rajasthan, their counterpart Mumbai Indians have acted quickly now.

According to the latest official update from the IPL media portal itself, Mumbai has completed to crucial trade operations before the upcoming action. 

According to the latest developments, Mumbai Indians have traded Shardul Thakur and Sherfane Rutherford from Lucknow and Gujarat, respectively. 

While Thakur was traded for a base price of ₹2 crore, Rutherford was traded from Gujarat for a price of ₹2.6 crore. It really needs to be said that Mumbai has managed to be these two crucial players for absolute throwaway prices.

Mumbai has always had the reputation of buying the most talented players, and converting them into superstar and appears to be that they’re on a mission to do the same again this year.

While Mumbai has made these trade agreements official, it has to be seen when Chennai would actually be announcing the trade agreement for Sanju Samson. There is a lot of discussion happening on this on social media about Chennai is yet to issue an official statement.
