Why Were Kohli And Rohit So ‘Aggressive’ Yesterday?

Team India was able to bounce back from the horrifying test defeat against South Africa with a confident win in the opening ODI last night. Though the game came very close in the end, it was India who held their nerve to win by a margin of 17 runs. 

However, the topic of discussion now is that senior players, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma appeared to be unusually aggressive in this game last night.

While Virat Kohli is naturally aggressive and likes to show his emotions, it is Rohit Sharma who came as a surprise package. He had way too many expressions on his face while taking the field and more importantly he was seen using cuss words while Virat Kohli was celebrating his century.

Even the visuals from after the game were very interesting as both Virat and Rohit appeared to be having a great intent. This is not what we usually see from them in bilateral games, so this inspired regression looked very surprising on them.

Considering the fact that there have been speculations about Gautham Gambhir being unable to hold Indian dress room together and the ongoing conflict with senior players, these mannerisms of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have grabbed the attention.
