T20 WC In 2 Weeks: 1 Team To Be Replaced Last Minute?

The stage is being firmly set for the upcoming T20 World Cup, which is going to start early this February. In the meanwhile, Bangladesh and Pakistan have started to create a scene by communicating that they would not travel to India for security reasons. 

The most unexpected thing is Bangladesh has commented that they would not travel to India on security grounds. They had even issued an ultimatum to ICC, saying they would not take part in the event if they are forced to travel to India. 

In this context, the ICC has issued a proper feedback message to Bangladesh by confirming that they would not be allowed to participate in the tournament if they don’t travel to India according to schedule. 

Now the latest developments are suggesting that Bangladesh could be replaced by the next best ranked team in the list, Scotland, if they continue on their stand to avoid travelling to India. This would essentially mean that Bangladesh should be replaced by Scotland if the former persists on fighting against India. 

This would be one of the biggest developments in cricket world if Bangladesh do actually get replaced by Scotland. Considering the fact that reputed media outlets like ESPN Cricinfo are also reporting the same, Bangladesh could be in big trouble.
