A one-way ticket from major Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad to Colombo is now priced between INR 50,000–100,000, compared to the usual INR 15,000. The fact that the prices have gone up by multiple times is an application of the same. 

Along with that, Colombo’s star-class hotel room rates from February 13–16 have skyrocketed to nearly INR 100,000 per night. This is also in anticipation of the game between India and Pakistan, which is going to be the marquee game of the tournament. 

On one hand, there is the demand to give less importance to this games against Pakistan and considering the border conflict and terrorism activities. But at the end of the day, Cricket fans are unable to contain the excitement as the game between India and Pakistan approaches.
