Something extremely is happening with one of the finest young talent in Indian cricket, Vaibhav Suryavanshi. After playing a historic innings in the recently concluded under 19 World Cup final Vaibhav has done something unexpected in terms of academic progress.
Incidentally, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is just 14 years old has already won the under 19 World Cup with India and coincidentally, he was scheduled to appear for the class 10 examination starting from today.
However, the latest communication from the principal of the school that Vaibhav is studying in confirms that he hadn’t appeared for the first exam today.
“Vaibhav is absent today. He has not come to the examination centre. We have marked him absent according to the policy of CBSE. We were expecting him to come and give the examination, but there are many other obligations. There could be a cricket match or a practice. I think he will definitely take the next exam.” The principal said.
A few social media users are concerned about the academic feature of Vaibhav as he is really prioritising Cricket over basic education.
At the same time, it must also be noted that Vaibhav is already in contract with Rajasthan Royals, which earns him ₹1.1 crore salary per year. He is likely to be included in the Indian cricket team in the future as well, if he continuous the good form.
While he might be settled, financially, certain academics are to be met, and it has to be seen how he would operate with the same.
