Is This The Most Aura Less Pic In IPL History?

Back in the day during the IPL season, the anticipation and enthusiasm from fans was through the roof even before the start of the season. People used to wait for weeks for the IPL to start.

But that is not even remote the case now as the IPL 2026 season is starting in just a few hours from now, but the anticipation is at an extremely low level.

While the IPL is scheduled to start on March 28, there is absolutely not discussion happening on social media circles, or amongst the Cricket loving groups in general. 

On that note, we have the latest picture of the IPL 2026 trophy along with the captains of all 10 IPL teams. Shockingly enough, this picture is receiving a lot of negative attraction on social media as people are committing that this is possibly the least exiting picture of the IPL captains in history.

Back in the day, we used to have iconic captains like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and others. The fighting spirit within the captaincy troops was extremely fierce and competitive. But with the current generation of players, this intensity appears to be missing.

Whatever might be the reason, this could possibly be one of the least hyped and anticipated IPL seasons in recent years. Fact that the IPL is starting in a couple of days from now and people are not even reminiscing or discussing the same is an indication of the prevailing situations. 

The ongoing conflict between Iran and United States, which resulted in oil and gas shortage appears to be a crucial detrimental factor here. Also, the lack of adequate gap from the recent T20 World Cup, which got concluded barely three weeks ago has left a cricket hangover and people are yet to get over the same.
