Washington Sundar’s Worst IPL Record

IPL is one of the biggest cricketing leagues in the world, and it obviously comes with its own set of expectations and pressure. Subsequently, not every player who plays in the league is able to live up to his fullest potential.

This is particularly evident if we look at the case of talented all rounder Washington Sundar, who is now facing the negative feedback on social media for his bad performances that have been piling up over years. 

Then what could be considered an extremely shocking statistic Washington Sundar have been playing the IPL for nine consecutive years till now, and not once did he scored a 50 date. His highest score, till now is 49, which he scored in 2018 and 2025. 

And to make it more interesting, he has not even picked up more than three wickets in a game till now. This is to be regarded as an extremely shocking statistic for a player who had been playing the IPL for nine consecutive years.

Washington, again with the bat and ball in the game between Gujarat and Rajasthan last night as he got out while batting in the middle order for Gujarat. People are commenting that Washington Sundar had never fully been a phenomenal all-rounder in the IPL, but he still somehow finds teams that pick him up in the auction.
