Back To Back Thrillers: Peak IPL Season Starts!

Before the start of the IPL, there wasn’t much anticipation leading into the same as there was the existing hangover regarding the recent T20 World Cup, which got concluded only earlier last month.

So there was this desperate need for IPL to put up some highly interesting games in order to wrestle back the interest from the Indian audience, and this is exactly what has happened now.

A couple of nights back, Gujarat and Delhi produced and another thriller that was decided on the last ball of the match. And this was followed by another thriller between Kolkata and Lucknow last night.

Lucknow almost miraculously ended up winning the game by three wickets margin, and this was largely due to the heroics of uncapped player Mukul Choudhary for Lucknow as he scored 14 runs from the final over.

These back to back thriller games in the ongoing IPL season are exactly what was needed for the tournament to win back the interest and anticipation from the fans. 

Thanks to super interesting games for the last couple of days, social media is absolutely flooded with posts on IPL and this could well mark the return of the glory of the league.
