Team India cricketer, Virat Kohli is one of the richest athletes in the world and is certainly the most valuable brand ambassador in the current generation. But his co-owned restaurant in Bengaluru is facing a very tricky situation.
A few years back, Kohli partnered with a culinary team to launch the One8 Commune restaurant in Bengaluru. In the stages, this restaurant created sensation in the Bengaluru area as the race of Virat Kohli is at the very peak here.
But in the recent past, the restaurant had been running into a lot of controversy and Virat Kohli eventually backed out of the same. He even removed the trademark One8 name from the restaurant, leaving the existing team to run the operations.
However, this restaurant has now hit a road block as the operations were completely shut down and the rent were also not paid for the last six months or so. This has resulted in court action as it was instructed that the restaurant must be shut down immediately.
Subsequently, this restaurant, which was earlier co owned by Virat Kohli and created a lot of interest amongst the culinary lovers in Bengaluru is now no longer in operation. All the hype and anticipation that was built earlier with the presence of Kohli, himself is now evaporated and the restaurant has also been removed upon court order.
