Dhruva Natchathiram’s Fate To Be Decided On This Day

The long-delayed release of Dhruva Natchathiram has once again come under legal spotlight, as the Madras High Court has concluded hearing oral arguments in the ongoing case. The court has reserved its orders and is expected to deliver the verdict on April 24.

Starring Vikram, Simran, Ritu Varma, and Aishwarya Rajesh, the spy action thriller directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon has been facing prolonged delays in its theatrical release for several years. The primary reason behind the hold-up has been financial disputes involving investors.

The case revolves around claims made by investors K. Punniamoorthy and K. Premkumar, who had approached the court in 2023 seeking to block the film’s release until their dues were cleared. The court had earlier granted an interim injunction, effectively halting the release process.

During the recent hearing, both sides presented detailed arguments regarding the financial obligations and the status of settlements. With the hearing now complete, all eyes are on the court’s upcoming order, which will play a crucial role in determining the fate of Dhruva Natchathiram.

Industry circles and fans are hopeful that the court verdict could finally clear the long-standing hurdles around Dhruva Natchathiram. After years of financial disputes and repeated delays, many believe Gautham Vasudev Menon’s persistence may finally pay off, allowing the film to see a theatrical release.
