The defending champions of IPL, Royal Challengers Bengaluru had a very good start to the season this year as well. But they had a very bad result last night in the game against Gujarat.
RCB came up against Gujarat in what turned out to be an interesting clash. RCB got rocked back early in the innings. Thanks to some impressive bowling from Gujarat, and they managed to get to 155 runs in the first innings.
In response to this, Gujarat was very good with the bat as they ended up completing the chase within 16 overs, which is a pretty strong result.
RCB has been one of the high flying teams of the tournament, and they were performing very well till last night. This is going to be a completely makeshift result for the RCB team as they got humbled last night.
But regardless of the result, RCB is still in the second position on the point table while Gujarat stick to 5th position.
Tomorrow is going to be another interesting clash between Rajasthan and Delhi, which is likely to be a high scoring affair as well.
