But things did not go CSK’s way in the start of the tournament this year as they ended up losing multiple games simultaneously.

However, the positive thing for CSK fans now is that the team is making a strong come back in the second half of the innings as they have won 5 of the 10 games till now. CSK is currently in sixth position on the points table and they’re right behind Gujarat.

The playoff race is getting interesting already as multiple teams have staked their claim at the league. Big challenge for Chennai is going to be to continue this momentum and generate more positive results in the next few days in order to keep up with the playoff race.

Without the services of Dhoni, this team had been struggling for a while now. But they appear to have the groove now and things are starting to shape up nicely. It will all come down to execution and winning the next four games in the most comprehensive way possible.
