Rajat Patidar Changes The Fate Of RCB

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma are two of the greatest captains in the history of IPL as both of them have won 5IPL titles each. No other captain has won the title more times than them.

However, we have a new star in the rising in the case of Rajat Patidar, who is the captain of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team.

After spending nearly a couple of decades without the IPL trophy, the RCB has won the tournament twice under the leadership of Rajat Patidar in the last two seasons.

The arrival of Rajat Patidar was not a matter of great excitement or anticipation for fans either. In fact, he was brutally trolled when he was appointed as the new captain of the RCB earlier. However, he silently put up good work and has merged as one of the all-time great captains in IPL.

He took a team that was struggling to find momentum in the IPL despite having the biggest stars in the team, to building a solid foundation at the fundamental level.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Dhoni were able to win the IPL trophies, even under complex circumstances, and it appears that Rajat is doing the same at a different capacity now.

Perhaps he can be categorised as the next name on the list after Dhoni and Rohit when it comes to legendary IPL captains.
