One of the iconic footballers of this generation, Cristiano Ronaldo has officially quit the FIFA World Cup as his Portugal side has been eliminated from the tournament.

Portugal came up against Spain, which happened to be one of the title favourites this year and Ronaldo simply could not come up with a winning performance for his team.
