In the biggest jump so far, Andhra Pradesh has registered 180 Corona positive cases in a single day. However, out of the 180 cases, only 79 belong to the state while 94 cases are of the other state residents while seven cases are of foreign returnees.
In the last 24 hours, 35 people have recovered from virus while four deaths have occurred. Two people have died from Chittoor district while one death from Krishna and Kurnool districts is reported.
The total Corona cases in AP stand at 3279 while 2244 have recovered and discharged. The total death count from the state is 68 and the active cases count is 967.
Coming to the nationwide stats, the total cases have crossed over two lakhs. Alarmingly in the last 15 days, the country has posted one lakh cases yet the recovery rate is high.
