Upasana Repeated Her 9-Yr-Old Wedding Lehenga

It is uncommon for celebrities and their spouses to repeat outfits. Being faces for designers and brands to promote, public figures take the opportunity to flaunt their lavish outfits. But these days, things have reversed and repeating outfits has become a bandwagon.

And the latest to do so is Upasana Kamineni as she repeats her pre-wedding lehenga 9 years later at her sister’s wedding. Upasana’s sister Anushpala is tying the knot with her boyfriend Armaan Ebrahmin and Upasana repeated her old lehenga, looking as fresh as she did a decade ago.

Designer Anamika Khanna helped her to recreate the look and the results left us in awe. Sharing the photos on Instagram, Upasana wrote, “I take so much pride in repeating & preserving clothes. I believe quality shopping is better for the planet than quantity. Clothes that have emotions attached are priceless. While fans are left spellbound to see Upasana repeating her outfit, even Samantha expressed how she loved the outfit in the comment section. Upasana is seen happily twirling in this gorgeous lehenga and donned gold earrings.
