The President once ruled it out as a ‘cold’ and the other time in April when asked about the rise in death numbers, he replied ‘so what? Sorry, but what do you want me to do?’
The Brazil president attended mass rallies in his support recently and kept stressing that the virus is not a threat to healthy people and changed the health ministers who disagreed with him. Brazil, the largest country in South America and Latin America, has more than 1.6 million coronavirus confirmed cases and more than 65,000 deaths.
Bolsonaro got tested on Monday after he started experiencing fatigue, muscle pain and a fever.
