Telangana Health Department officially confirmed the same in a press meet today. Director of Public Health, Srinivasa Rao said that the third wave is over in the state.

“We experienced the peak of the third wave on 28th January, and it has come down after that. The positivity rate has also come down. Telangana state’s positivity rate is less than 2 percent,” revealed Srinivasa Rao.

Srinivasa Rao also mentioned that Telangana CM KCR’s suggestions helped the health department to face the pandemic situation in a better way. “With Fever survey, we are able to control the virus from spreading. The Vaccine helped as a strong weapon in fighting the virus,” he said.

Srinivasa Rao also predicted that the positive cases will come to a hundred in one more week. However, he asked everyone to continue being cautious and take all necessary precautions.

“Please follow all COVID precautions. Those who took the vaccine did not get hospitalized. Those who did not get the vaccine were admitted to the hospital. We have given 5.67 lakh home isolation kits.” said Srinivasa Rao.

“There are no more restrictions in the state. All business organizations can work without any restrictions. I request the IT companies also put an end to the Work From Home model,” he shared.
