In a record breaking 27,114 new COVID-19 cases have been reported yesterday and also the total number of cases has crossed eight lakh mark. Currently the total cases count stand at 8,20,916 while the active cases count is 2,83,407.
The recovered number is 5,15,386 but the interesting aspect of recoveries is, for the straight third day over 19,000 people got cured of the virus and discharged from respective hospitals. On Friday 22,123 patients have recovered which is the highest since the virus outbreak in the country.
The Union Health Ministry claimed that the recovered rate is at 62.7 percent. 519 people have died in the last 24 hours and the total death count is 22,213.
Telangana has crossed the 30K mark and in Andhra Pradesh, it has surpassed the 23K mark.
