US: Andhra Man Killed In The Armed Robbery

In a horrific and tragic incident, an Andhra youth was killed in gunfire on February 11 in Birmingham of Alabama. The man was identified as Satya Krishna Chittoori, aged 27. He hailed from Visakhapatnam City and got married last year in 2021. It is disturbing to learn that the wife is currently pregnant and has now lost her husband.

Satya Krishna went to the US with the goal of pursuing higher education. For his dream, he also reportedly made some debts. For a living, he started working part-time as a clerk at a store called O Crown Service Station in Birmingham, Alabama. However, he died on Feb 11 after a group of robbers attempted to rob a store where Satya Krishna was working.

They broke into the store and were armed. When one of the robbers opened fire, Satya Krishna died on the spot. Police rushed Satya Krishna’s body to a hospital for post-mortem. The Talladega county cops are currently in search of the accused. As per the CCTV footage, the accused is six-foot height and wore a black shirt at the time of the incident.

The news left not only his family but left the entire Telugu community in sadness and fury. Meanwhile, the pregnant wife is in deep sorrow at the loss of a loved one. The couple did not even complete one year anniversary and the whole family members are grieving the loss.
