Over the last few days, AP has been posting a high number of new Covid- 19 cases and for the first time, the cases count has crossed 2K in a single day. In the last 24 hours, 2432 new positive cases were reported out of the 22, 197 samples tested. The total samples tested so far is 12,17,963 and the total cases count has crossed the 35K mark. The total cases count is 35,451.
The active cases count is 16,621 and the discharged patients count is 18,378. Also 44 people have died yesterday of Covid- 19 and the total death tally is 452.
Guntur and Kurnool districts have a high number of cases with 468 and 403 respectively. Meanwhile the cases are piling up in temple town Tirupathi. Freshly four more priests working in the temple have tested positive of Covid- 19 while three cases are reported from Balaji Nagar.
