Andhra Pradesh has been reporting a huge number of Covid-19 cases over the last few days and the government is taking tight measures to contain the virus. Just when the government is vigilant, two Covid-19 prisoners have escaped and created a panic in West Godavari district.
Going into details, On 21st of this month, the Eluru Jail authorities have conducted tests for prisoners. 13 members have tested positive and all of them were shifted Covid Care Centre established at a local Engineering College.
On Saturday morning, prisoners hailing from Jangareddygudem and Bheemavaram have escaped from the clutches of escort cops. Getting to know about this, the police have launched a hunt for these escaped prisoners.
But these prisoners pose a great threat to other people as Covid-19 spreads rapidly and this could lead to more number of the cases in the district.
