World’s First Corona Vaccine by August

As the world is going through one of its toughest phases with the Covid-19 pandemic, world’s first Corona vaccine produced by Russia is likely for public use within a two weeks. Russia has produced adenoviral vector-based vaccine for Corona and it is currently in its phase 2 trials.

Russian military and government researches have been working on round the clock to develop the vaccine. The phase 3 trials are expected to begin around August 3. As the vaccine is under trials, the Russian officials are hoping that the vaccine would be approved by Moscow based Gamaleya Institute by 10 August or even before.

Once the vaccine is available for the public use, it will be provided to the front-line warriors – healthcare workers and doctors. As Russia hasn’t revealed the scientific data of the vaccine and its research details, the vaccine’s safety and efficacy remains doubtful. The human testing is also incomplete. However, Russia officials are hopeful that the vaccine would overcome all these barriers and would soon be available for public use by August 2nd week.
