‘Sacred Games’ Actress Strips To Support Anti-Hijab

Popular for playing the role of a struggling actress and her mother as well, in a double role, in the super hit web series “Sacred Games” that features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan in leading roles, German beauty of Iranian origin Elnaaz Norouzi is a popular face in India too. She has done many small roles in many movies later and often stuns with her paparazzi appearances.

Actually, Elnaaz’s family moved out of Iran due to the lack of freedom in the country when she was a child and they have grown up in Germany. Right now, with Iranian Religious Police trying to crush the new wave of protests taken up by women in the country who are openly removing their hijabs and burning them, Elnaaz has openly defended the protestors. And she has come up with a video where she posed semi-n*de as well, saying, “I am not promoting n*dity, I am promoting freedom of choice”.

Apparently, inside the video, Elnaaz stated through a series of undressing acts that it is women’s choice whether they want to wander in a hijab or they would go around the world in a bikini. To convey her message strongly, she has even gone topless towards the end covering her modesty with her hands, as she says, “Every Woman, anywhere in the world, regardless of where she is from, should have the right to wear whatever she desires and when or wherever she desires to wear it. No man nor any other woman has the right to judge her or ask her to dress otherwise”.

She further stated that every woman should have the power to decide over her own body democratically. Right now Indians are hailing Elnaaz Norouzi for her bold move and we have to see how people in her native country Iran would respond to this.
