In what we can call a super cute conversation on stage, Janhvi Kapoor tries to stop her dad from over-praising her. But yeah, dad-producer Boney Kapoor won’t budge.
Janhvi Kapoor’s Survivor thriller Mili is coming very soon. The trailer of the movie was launched today and during the event, Janhvi Kapoor and her father Boney Kapoor had this sweet conversation.
When the event presenter asked how proud is Boney Kapoor of his daughter Janhvi Kapoor, as he also produced the movie. Boney Kapoor called it a special day also while he praises her performance as phenomenal in Mili. Boney started praising Janhvi has grown from film to film and he stated that this film has brought her close to the peak and he said she will outgrow the burden she has been carrying as the daughter of Sri(Devi).
Boney Kapoor said, ‘She has begun well and carved her own niche starting with Dhadak, Gunjan and then..’ and that is where Janhvi tried to stop him in a cute way saying, ‘Papa taareef bas karo, Odd lagta hai jab father boltein.'(dad, please stop praising too much, it looks odd if father praises..)
Boney continues, ‘What’s wrong in saying facts and Janhvi lets him speak with, ‘Ok sorry, acha theek hai.’ He said, ‘I am like that, when you do a wrong thing, I will tell you that at home and when a media person asks the same, I will admit it.’
This togetherness and closeness between the father-daughter duo left many folks at the event on smiles.
