The state of Telangana has touched the one lakh mark of Covid-19 positive cases and it has emerged as the ninth Indian state to hit the six figures mark. Freshly Telangana has reported 2474 new positive cases and the total cases count is 1,01,865.
Surprisingly for the first time, Telangana has tested over 40K samples in a single day. 43,095 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours while seven people have died. The total death count is 744. Telangana has 22,386 active cases and 15,391 individuals are in home/institutional isolation.
Coming to the total cases as a country, 69,878 new cases were reported and 945 people have passed away. With this the total cases stands at 29,75,702 while the death tally is 55,794.
The active cases stand at 6,97,330 while the recovered count is 22,22,578.
