Team India Unhappy With After-Practice Meal: No Hot Food On Menu

After stunning Pakistan, team India will face Netherlands tomorrow in Sydney and the Men In Blue are practicing intensively even though the Dutch team is not a big threat. However, the facilities being provided by the ICC in Sydney has seriously upset the team India.

Firstly it was the food. After training rigorously, team India members expected a good meal. But to their utter shock the food was cold and not good. “There was only sandwiches and fruits. Some members did not like the food and so they left the hotel to have food there,” said sources within the BCCI.

The second was that team India was provided practice location nearly 42 kilometres away from Sydney in Blacktown. That journey would be long and members refused to travel that long for practice sessions. 

Such incidents do often repeat for team India in particular and in Australia they faced a similar situation during the historic Test series in 2020-2021. Aussie media kept blaming team India for tantrums but the fact is it’s a propaganda. Yet the BCCI never spoke about them in the media and maintained its composure.
