The death of Sushant Singh Rajput and the controversies surrounding his death are taking a new turn each day. While an alleged drug link broke out in the case following some whatsapp chats, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has stepped into the case and started its probe into the drug angle.
According to media reports, NCB has arrested one of the drug peddlers in relation with the Sushant’s case. One of the drug peddlers has reportedly identified Showik Chakraborty, brother of actress Rhea Chakraborty. Reportedly, the drug peddler admitted to NCB sleuths that he “knows” Showik. Now this is crucial information about the drug angle in Sushant’s case.
In the case, NCB sleuths have acted swiftly and conducted immediate raids at multiple locations in Mumbai and Delhi based on tip off. As per reports, two large malls of contraband drugs were seized in Delhi and Mumbai which is based on the info from the peddlers who were in NCB custody.
Apparently, about 18 famous celebs including two politicians, one famous actor and one filmmaker have been named. NCB sleuths said to have handed over the list to Mumbai police. Media reports indicate that several names of politicians, Bollywood personalities and other creme de la creme would also come out in connection with the drugs. More details are awaited. Rhea and Showik are yet to revert on the reports of a drug peddler identifying Showik.
