The death of 4-year-old Pradeep in a stray dog attack in Hyderabad has kicked up lots of debates on the internet as to how GHMC is not taking care of the dog menace in the city. With various news reports popping up that more than 10K dog bite incidents are registered in Hyderabad alone last year, some fans and moral police are going wild on social media now.
Apparently, there is this brigade of heroines and actresses like Trisha and anchor Rashmi Gautham who always share updates related to stray dogs that are ready for adoption, and also make huge noise on Twitter when videos of people attacking dogs surface. Even, senior hero Nagarjuna Akkineni’s wife also speaks about saving the street dogs a lot. Right now, Twitterati is busy posing strong questions to these celebs, asking them if their activism would bring back the life of the four year old.
Surprisingly, these debates have divided some celebs, as well as some fans, who are taking sides now. But people who are considerate of both human deaths as well as saving dogs, are advising GHMC to follow the Goan model of eradicating the street dog menace.
Rather than discussing the solutions, right now some celebs are busy talking about the greatness of dogs and some fans are arguing about the loss of lives due to the very same street dogs. But all these digital tigers are not looking into the steps and measures to be taken to avoid unfortunate incidents.
