Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India has been named as the most popular global leader with an approval rating of 76%, according to a survey conducted by Morning Consult. This puts him ahead of other world leaders, including Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who has a 61% approval rating, and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who has a rating of 55%. Italy’s Prime Minister Georgia Meloni has an approval rating of 49%, placing her fourth on the list, while Brazilian President Lula de Silva shares the same rating but is ranked fifth. US President Joe Biden, who leads one of the world’s superpower nations, only received a 41% approval rating, putting him in sixth place.
While PM Modi’s approval rating has decreased slightly from 78% in February, he still holds a significant lead over other global leaders in terms of popularity. The survey reflects the sentiment of people towards their leaders across the world, taking into account various factors such as governance, policies, and decision-making.
This is not the first time that PM Modi has emerged as the most popular global leader. He has consistently held this position for several years, reflecting his strong leadership skills, policies, and charisma. The Indian Prime Minister’s focus on issues such as economic development, infrastructure, and digitalisation has also contributed to his popularity.
PM Modi’s leadership has been lauded globally, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he spearheaded various initiatives to combat the virus and provide relief to those affected by it. He has also been instrumental in pushing forward the vaccination drive in India, which is one of the largest in the world.
The survey by Morning Consult is a testament to the continued popularity and admiration of PM Modi’s leadership skills, both within India and globally.
