Sachin’s son Arjun Tendulkar makes his IPL debut

Sachin Tendulkar is considered the God of Cricket. This iconic player had set up multiple records in his 24-year-old career. After achieving everything in the field of cricket, Sachin announced his retirement in 2013. Now, after a gap of 10 years, his son Arjun Tendulkar made his IPL debut.

Arjun is a left-arm pacer who represents Mumbai Indians. He played Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy in the past. Mumbai Indians have been inducting him into their squad for the last couple of years but never gave him a chance to play a game. Finally, the day has come.

Arjun made his IPL debut today in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. He also opened the bowling for Mumbai. Arjun bowled 2 overs and conceded 17 runs. He didn’t get any wickets though. The young lad impressed everyone with his skills though he leaked quite a few extra runs in his second over.

In the first innings, KKR managed to score 185/6 in 20 overs. Venkatesh Iyer scored a century in just 49 balls. Mumbai’s batting innings is currently underway.
