Pilgrim Helicopter Crashes While Returning from Badrinath!

Uttarakhand is proudly referred to as Dev Bhoomi of India as it is home to some of the most sacred pilgrimages in the country. But we frequently witness natural disasters here in this state, and now we have another shocking addition to the list.

This time it is more of a man made thing as a private helicopter carrying pilgrims has reportedly crashed in Uttarakhand.

According to information, six people, including five passengers and a pilot, were on board during the time of the crash.

The helicopter reported missing in the vicinity of Hathi Parvat near Joshimath is believed to have crashed and this was confirmed by Uttarakhand chief minister as well. Two other choppers have been called into service to locate the missing helicopter.

This helicopter (VT-HCX) operated by Trans Bharat Aviation, flying from Badrinath to Sahastradhara in Dehradun, has gone missing after losing communication and tracking signals over Joshimath Valley around 1.14 pm.

For now, all we can do is pray for the safety and well-being of the six individuals who are currently in the helicopter but things are looking very gloomy at this moment.
