Husband Dies In US, Depressed Wife Commits Suicide In Hyd

In a tragic incident, a woman died by suicide after immense sadness and depression due to her husband passing away while she was away in India for vacation.

Manoj and Sahithi were married almost over a year ago. Manoj was working in Dallas and recently Sahithi visited Hyderabad on a vacation.

Manoj died of a heart attack in the US on May 20 and his body was brought to India for final rites. Manoj was cremated. Sahithi was upset over the loss and she died by suicide at her parent’s house in Amberpet in Hyderabad.

The family members were preparing to go to her in-laws for further rituals. But when Sahithi’s sister went out of the room, she locked herself inside the room before hanging herself to death. The parents tried to break in and rush her to the nearby hospital, but she was declared dead.

There was no suicide note found on the spot and no possible foul play is suspected behind the suicide.
