In a shocking incident, a priest in Hyderabad has been accused of murdering his girlfriend and hiding her body in a manhole in the suburbs of Narkuda village in Shamshabad.
The accused, identified as Venkata Sai Surya Krishna, The police discovered incriminating evidence from CCTV footage, leading them to conclude that Krishna was responsible for the heinous crime.
The father of the accused, while speaking to media, defended his son, claiming that Sai Krishna was a good person. He mentioned that the victim used to visit the temple occasionally and he had cautioned his son about getting too involved with her. The father suggested that harassment from the victim might have driven Sai Krishna to commit the crime.
On the other hand, Apsara’s mother, in an interview with the channel, accused Sai Krishna of killing her daughter. According to her, Apsara had informed the family that she was going to Coimbatore and left the house on Saturday. Sai Krishna visited their house on Sunday morning, expressing concern about Apsara’s unavailability and asking what had happened. The accused had been a frequent visitor to their home.
The police, acting on the information, recovered the decomposed body from the manhole on Friday afternoon.
