Not just in the total cases, India is making records in the Covid-19 deaths too. Since two weeks, India is consistently reporting over a thousand deaths every day and now the total death tally has crossed 80K.
In the last 24 hours, 1,054 people have died and the total death tally is 80,808. Also the total cases count has touched 49 Lakh mark. 83,809 new positive cases have been reported yesterday and the total cases is 49,30,237 including 9,90,061 active cases and 38,59,400 discharged.
India’s recovery rate stands at 78.26 percent while the fatality rate is 1.64 percent. ICMR stated that 10,72,845 samples were tested yesterday.
Telangana has a total of 1.60 lakh cases and over 30K active cases.
