Christopher Nolan’s Interesting Comments On ‘AI’

One of the most creative, intellectual, and legendary filmmakers out there, Christopher Nolan, is coming up with his latest sensation, “Oppenheimer”, a film based on the life of ‘Father of the Atom Bomb’, Rober Oppenheimer. As the film is set to open at the box office on July 21st, the director is promoting the film aggressively and making some interesting comments.

In an interview with a French media house, Christopher Nolan was made to respond on how Artificial Intelligence aka AI would shape the world. Especially the interviewer presented a film story created by the poopular AI app ChatGPT which is on the lines of a typical Nolan film, and the director called it immediately, “bull shit”. He further added, “Nothing can beat human creativity and AI generates something that is based on human creativity from the past. After some time, like how many technologies reached their saturation point, even AI would reach that. But the human brain continues to do miracles”.

At a time when many filmmakers are thinking that they would use ChatGPT and other apps exclusively to develop their stories and fast track their script-screenplay works, the comments made by Christopher Nolan should be real eye-openers. AI could only give ideas but won’t be able to fulfill all the necessary emotional requirements to write screenplays and stories.
