In a heart rendering incident, a woman from Hyderabad went to the US for Masters two years back and is now found starving on Chicago roads.
Syeda Lulu Minhaj Zaidi from Moula Ali in Hyderabad went to the US to pursue her Master’ degree at TRINE University Detroit. She is found in a pathetic situation, starving and depressed on Chicago roads. Her mother Syeda Wahaj Fatima has appealed to Minister for External Affairs S Jaishankar to intervene to bring her daughter back to India as soon as possible.
Syeda Minhaj Zaidi went to the US in August 2021 and she was not in touch with the family for the last two months.
Wahaj Fatima’s letter read, ‘Recently through two Hyderabadi youths we came to know that my daughter is under deep depression and her entire belonging have been stolen due to which she is on verge of starvation and being spotted on roads of Chicago’.
The woman looked pale and weak and was having difficulty to speak also. A man is reportedly assuring her help and promising to arrange food.
