SunRisers Hyderabad had very disappointing outings in the 2022 and 2023 IPL seasons. The team stood last in the points table and majorly upset the SRH fans. Seems like the SRH management has taken note of this disappointing show and made changes in the coaching staff which is the need of the hour.
Firstly SRH management had bid goodbye to West Indies legend Brian Lara who has been the Head Coach of the team. The second is Lara is replaced with New Zealand legend Daniel Vettori. The Kiwi all-rounder will be the Head Coach of SRH and an official announcement regarding the same has been made.
“Kiwi legend Daniel Vettori joins the #OrangeArmy as Head Coach. Welcome, coach!,” tweeted SRH’s official X handle. Vettori was previously associated with Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the team made remarkable progress in his tenure. SRH believe that Vettori could certainly change the team’s attitude.
SRH, the 2016 IPL champions have not been able to put up a decent performance in the last couple of seasons. Fans seriously prayed for major changes in team management and also in the players. The owners of SRH heard the fans and hopefully this change will bring positive results for the team.
